Watoto Children’s Choir is a group of African Children (like me) based in Kampala, Uganda, at Watoto Church. The choir is made up of children who have lost one or both parents to the AIDS epidemic or to war.  The choir has toured Asia, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Israel, The Netherlands, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and many other countries. 

I’m super excited to meet them live during one of their tours at our Church – Gospel Centre Edmonton Canada.  We were blessed by their amazing message, very well inspired by their stories, thrilled by their energy, and especially glad to see the smiles on their faces. Theirs is a story of hope, love and redemption.

I am inspired by the sacrifices of their Leaders. I was extremely happy to have a few moment to chat with one of the leaders and had to really appreciate him for the work they do.

These children have been to the UK Houses of Parliament, Canadian Parliament, Australian Parliament as well as the White House on different occasions. 

Imagine if no one took care of these amazing Talents? Imagine what would have become of these wonderful souls, who now go about Nations spreading the goodnews of Jesus? Imagine if these have died of hunger? Imagine….just imagine? 

In many ways I can relate with some of their stories, but today is not my day to tell mine. 

My word of encouragement today to you my friend is :

If God is leading you to bless a child, donate to a cause that cares for children, speak up for a child, pray for a child who is going astray, partake in activities to develop children…..or whatever thing you are led to do. Please do it with joy, it is a seed, don’t hold back, give it your best. Your seed will yield millions of fruits very soon.

I celebrate everyone out there doing their little deeds to groom the next generation for success. Do not be discouraged!
