About My DearAburo
"Aburo" is a Nigerian Yoruba word that means a younger sibling often by the same parents. However, it could also be used to describe the relationship between an older and a younger person. The opposite is "egbon" which represent the older person, while "aburo" is the younger person. We use these terms a lot in our community in spite of biological relationships.
My use of "aburo" in these series does not represent biological relationship or age, it is an expression of my social connection with the younger people of my community, who I pray for and desire strongly that they will make better choices, be more resilient, overcome barriers that come in their way of achieving success and live their healthiest happiest live possible under God.
I write these letters to inspire my beloved youths (my #dearaburo) to BE MORE, to #aspirebeyondlimits, to become better and achieve more.
As a Christian, Writer and Health Coach, I am privileged to share tips and resources to help my audience and clients live a healthier and happier life. I am honored to be in a place to help children, youth and families achieve more for themselves and live a happy and healthy life according to God's purpose for them.
My prayer for you my dear is that you will prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.
I will be glad to read from you as well.
